Unleaded Gas Futures Why Dot They Have An ETF For Gas Like They Have A Future For Unleaded Gas At NY Port?

Why dot they have an ETF for gas like they have a future for unleaded gas at NY port? - unleaded gas futures

There was very little demand.

Large hedgers are already familiar with the futures contract. You have to use the infrastructure, it is very effective and very liquid.

Who will use an ETF to petrol? You? Probably not much demand from retailers like you. Certainly not enough to justify the introduction of an ETF.

In addition, ETFS physics problems with the term structure of futures contracts that ETFs are much less effective. First, it means that the month are again more expensive than they cost more, if the futures are rolled from the month over a month ago. Second, be made that the TEC has future contracts in the futures markets, how much of what they do, and when they should. Therefore, they can legally run "before" the ETF for the futures markets to open up.

There are other reasons but these reasons are the owners.

In response to its latest novelty: the gold and silver have a natural demand for smaller, as demonstrated by the fact that one of the two gold coins and / Silver've mutual funds a year.

Oil ETF has not done well resolved Claymore simple but its oil funds include MacroShares.

And finally, why not buy crude oil ETF, the Foundation has purchased gasoline? Oil rose by more than the gas that would have made more money.
